Following a thorough clinical examination the need for further investigation through a range of techniques may be indicated:

  • Blood analysis
  • Skin scrapes
  • Faecal analysis
  • Video Endoscopy – Upper respiratory tract/ Stomach/ Bladder
  • Chest radiography
  • Biopsy – Liver, skin, lymph nodes etc

We have a range of laboratory equipment including microscopes and blood analysers to aid in the diagnosis of your horse’s problem and also use a range of specialist external laboratories for hormonal assays, bacterial culture and sensitivity evaluation and histopathology.
