Zone Visits
WHAT IS IT?
Zone Visits are an alternative option to standard visits for routine procedures listed below.
They are restrictive to a particular day of the week per area, do not allow a specific time of visit or vet to be requested and in return you receive a free of charge visit provided payment for services received are made at the time of examination. (If Payment is not made at the time of treatment a fee of £26.00 (inc. VAT) will apply.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All clients are eligible for Zone Visits provided they do not have any debts outstanding on their account.

This list is not exhaustive, please contact the office if you are unsure whether or not the service you require qualifies for a zone visit. Further examinations may be required following an initial examination performed under a zone visit – these may not qualify for further zone visits.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Please contact your usual clinic by 5.00pm the day before your day at the latest. You will be put onto the list list for the appropriate day but will need to contact the reception on the morning of your visit to confirm when in the day the vet will visit.
We do not give a specific time that the vet will attend but should be able to give a time range during which the vet is likely to be at your yard. If this flexibility of time does not suit you, then a routine visit would be appropriate for you.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS re Zone Visits
- We will never refuse to visit your horse if, for example, a vaccination must be performed the next day. If no zone visits are available another vet will attend under a normal visit at the time requested by you and the standard visit fee applies.
- Specific times cannot be booked although a preference for morning or afternoon can be requested at the time of booking. We will endeavour to meet your request but this may not always be possible.
- Appointments cannot be booked with a specific vet but your visit will always be from one of our team of experienced equine vets.
