JMB MEASUREMENTS

David McDonald and Howard Newitt are JMB approved measurers for the issuing of height certificates.

We have two measuring pads, one at our Sevington clinic and one at our Benenden clinic.

Please remember the following:

Remove your pony’s shoes
Bring your passport and any other measuring documentation with you.

It is compulsory that all horses subject to JMB measurement are identified by a microchip.  If your pony does not already have one, a microchip will be fitted after the measurement at your expense.

It is helpful if your pony can be accustomed to a measuring stick prior to the measuring as the naturally relaxed height is desired and the procedure should be less stressful for all concerned.
